Become A Member
Settlers’ Village has become a very busy community centre while preserving artefacts from the history of our area.
Your support as a member will help to ensure that we can continue as a viable entity. The number of members is very important to the sustainability and management of Kawartha Settlers’ Village. Members vote at the annual meeting to elect directors who have responsibility for the management of the Village.
When we apply for grants to the Province, the City or a Foundation, we are required to report the number of members to demonstrate the strength and vitality of the organization. Your support as a member will help to ensure that Settlers’ Village will continue as a viable entity.
To become a member, please download the form above. Once completed you can drop-off (Visitor Centre), mail (Box 755, Bobcaygeon ON, K0M 1A0) or email (info@settlersvillage.org). Payment can be made in person (debit, credit, cash), online with an email money transfer to ecommerce@settlersvillage.org or a credit card payment can be made over the phone by calling the office.

Donate to the Village
Monetary Donations
The Kawartha Region Arts & Heritage Society was established in 1990 to foster the cultural heritage of the City of Kawartha Lakes and operates Kawartha Settlers’ Village. We rely on public donations as a source of income and as a registered charity, we are authorized to issue tax receipts of $20 or more. In October of 2012, the Board of Directors established a Capital Reserve Fund in which monies may be used to purchase new furniture and equipment, the construction of new buildings, site improvements, building alterations or renovations, or major repairs (ie. a new roof). The funds in this account will not be used for operating expenses. If you are planning a gift or a gift in memory, please email the office and we can designate the gifts into this fund.
Donations can be made in office (cash, debit or credit), E-Transfer to ecommerce@settlersvillage.org, or Cheques can be mailed to PO Box 755 Bobcaygeon, Ontario K0M 1A0
Artifact Donations
Kawartha Settlers’ Village is grateful to the many people who have generously donated artifacts but due to limited storage, we can only be selective on what we can accept. If you would like to donate something please email us with a picture and details of the artifact and someone will get in touch with you.
Buy a Brick Fundraiser
Now that our new visitor centre is built, we are extending our brick pathway! Purchase a brick, and have it engraved for yourself, a dedication, to commemorate an occasion or whatever you desire to have placed in ‘stone’ on the path. Each brick is $100, with proceeds going towards completing the walkway and Village operating costs. All brick purchases will be eligible for a tax receipt as a charitable donation. Set your name in stone, on the walkway by completing the form below, and submitting to Kawartha Settlers’ Village.
Forms can be emailed to info@settlersvillage.org
